For years, I practiced yoga and running faithfully. I felt good, but I never truly trained with intention. After my hysterectomy and the hormonal shifts of midlife, I realized something important:

My body wasn’t declining. It was asking for a new strategy.

The Turning Point

Strength training became that turning point.
Not for aesthetics. For longevity. For bone density. For resilience. For mental clarity.

I started small. 5-pound dumbbells. Then 10s. Then more.
I rebuilt slowly and intentionally.

And I began documenting the journey.
